» Curious Stranger from Independents For Clark
Thanks to the Clarkbot, I've found The Curious Stranger, who has this to say about Dean vs. Clark I have nothing against Dean. I agree with nearly all of his domestic positions but I think he treats national security and... Read More

Hi,
Wow, what a great blog this is. I followed you here from Stuff from Wozz. That's a great blog, like this blog. You should link Wozz back. He linked you. It's customary, and you have so much in common. Both damn good blogs. Link me. I'll like you. What a great blog this is.

Great pictures. Looked like a nice day up there, not too cold and even some of the leaves were still turning. The one titled "Mt Evans?" (you have 3 pics like this) is definately Bierstadt(right)& The Sawtooth. You don't see Mt Evans until you reach Bierstadt's summit, and it looks only a stone's throw away. You see cars and the observatory from the Bierstadt side.
The pic titled "Bierstadt & Sawtooth" is totally confusing to me.
See, I need a topo map. I had things turned around. "Sawtooth" didn't look very sawtoothed to me ;)
I'll fix the labels.
And yes, it was a beautiful day. It was a bit cold up top though when the wind got going.
These are some of the best photos I've ever seen on the internet.
How much did your camera cost? I'm thinking of buying my first digital.
Thanks for the compliment! I don't know about the best photos on the internet, but it does help to have beautiful places like Guanella Pass around to take pictures of ;) I just wish I had the time (and the working car ;) required to spend more time in the mountains with my camera.
The camera is actually about 3 years old and cost about $700 back then as I recall. It's an Olympus C2000Z with only 2 megapixels. I do like it and spent a fair amount of time researching it back when I bought it, but it's quite obsolete these days. The more up-to-date version of it is the C5050Z\
I'm holding out for an E20N or - dare to dream - the E1
