The Enemy
The national Green Party should steer far clear of Nader. Not only is the Bush administration destroying everything the Greens hold dear, but who would say that Nader has been a strong advocate for the party the last four years?Nader is out for himself and only himself. His admirable consumer protection achievements might've given him a pass in 2000, but there's too much at stake now to suffer his megalomaniac ambitions kindly.

amen ... in fact the debacle of election 2000 would today be a non issue and florida would have meant nothing if mr nader's ego had been more in check when as the election drew near he surely knew he would be throwing the election to mr bush by insisting that he send a message to both parties. can he truly say the two parties are really so alike that mr gore would be writing law that gives america the moral right to invade Holland by virtue of its rabid hatred of the I.C. if any american is ever held over for trial by said court.
Peter,
That's the typical democratic copout. Blame it on Nader that Gore lost, not because Gore sucked in the first place. While I agree that Nader is out for himself, to blame him for the mess in 2000 is pure bullshit. All that does is make the democrats sound like a bunch of whiny pussies, which is the last thing you or I want.
Gore lost because of Gore, not because of Nader.
I cannot believe this is still being whined about, how lame.
Gore lost? ;p
Denver Greens just say NO.
